A paramedical exam is a health screening required by life insurance companies to evaluate your eligibility and policy rates.

Vitals, questionnaire, blood draw, urine sample, and any additional tests requested by your insurance provider (such as an EKG).

Most exams take 20–30 minutes.

Preparation depends on the type of service and testing requirements, including DOT or non-DOT drug testing, alcohol testing, paramedical exams, and other services offered by Regional Exam Services Guam (ResGuam). Follow any instructions provided by your employer, insurance company, or ResGuam. If your appointment requires a urine sample, avoid using the restroom immediately beforehand and drink 2–3 cups of water approximately 1–2 hours before arriving. Contact ResGuam before your appointment if you are unsure which instructions apply to your test.
